People throughout Lake County deserve a safe environment in which to raise their kids. I will work to ensure
there is adequate jail space in which to house convicted criminals and that they serve their entire sentence.
The current property tax rates impose an unfair burden on working families in Lake County. Needed is a board that
uses revenues wisely instead of raising rates to compensate for budget inefficiency.
Our children deserve the best education we can possibly provide. Our kids should never pay the price for elected officials
who cannot or will not make smart decisions, which ultimately affect education.
The capacity of roads has not kept pace with demand in Lake County. The failure to plan for an expanding populatioin
is witnessed every day in the form of traffic congestion. This harms business and consumes time and energy.
Lake County is blessed with spectacular natural resources. On the county board, I will work to maintain our enviroment and leave it
in a better condition for our children.
